Shut down your screen week

What would you do if you couldn’t use the internet? We want to shut down all technology from kids at home and at school for a week.

Why we should participate in shut down your screen week “if were distracted we understand less learn less remember less.” We don’t remember or learn as much from google as we do each other or our superiors we don’t learn from google we don’t have to think about what we want to know we just look it up.

Why should we take place in shut down your screen week? It’ll help us do something other than looking and watching a screen. “When we use our computers or cellphones all the time were always distracted. We don’t interact with each other we don’t have social skills we can hide in our rooms and never come out but that’s not healthy.

Why we should take place in shout down your screen week. “The faster we zip throw the web the more our brains slow down and the more we loss our train of thought”. If we can’t remember what we are doing than its hard to do anything.
In conclusion this is why we should participate in shout down your screen week. Would you give up your phone for a week?

The great depression by Emily
How would you feel if you were denied everything you wanted? How did the great depression have a huge in pack on millions? There are only a few things that that happened in the great depression.
How the great depression effected millions. “Daddy is thinking of taking a loan from Mr. Roosevelt and his man to get some new wheat planted where the winter crop as spindled out and died. Mr. Roosevelt promises daddy won’t pay a dime till the crop comes in.
There was no money to buy crops so people toke loans from the president and his man. So they could grow food to sell.
How the great depression effected millions “Daddy has to take all sort of weird jobs so we have money. We cut down on everything toothpaste (we used soda), toilet paper (we used the catalog).
There weren’t many full time jobs. There was no money people could not use what they needed.
How the great depression effected millions. “Most people were selling their houses for 5$, 10$ and a 100$ we got ours for 125 but we did not have gas in the winter only the summer for three months.
In conclusion how the great depression effected millions how a man worked day and night a father who could not grow food. And how many people were forst to sell their homes. So how would you feel if you had nothing left but your family?

What the food web is saying is that the krill eat plankton and the whale eats krill. The small fish eat the krill and the turtle eats small fish. The small fish eat krill the jellyfish eat small fish.

Malala the great powerful How would you feel if you had no rights, could not go to school, and had to stay at home and not learn? In the poem the darkest hour it talks about a courageous person like Malala Yousafezai. The Taliban might torcher her or kill her. She still talked to girls about the problem.
external image malala-yousafzai-ftr.jpg

The poem describes a courageous person similar to malala
“There are those who cower when the landscape is pounded by rain and darkness and heavy clouds hover over body and spirit and there are those who carry mountains on there backs in the dark of night and blaze and blaze and blaze with light” Malala is like the courageous person in the poem because she is risking her own life so children can get an education in Pakistan”

“Another reason why she is courageous is despite the Talban’s orders Malala father didn’t shut down his school. From then on Malala and her family were living under constant threat. Across the region schools were being bombed teachers risked their lives by going to school Malala and her classmates stopped wearing there school uniforms and hid their books under their clothing.”

“Finally in 2009 she began blogging for BBC she wrote about what her life was like under the Taliban and how she could not go to school or leave her home Malala was so brave. She fought for the right to education.”
In conclusion Malala is a very courageous person just like in the poem. She fought for her rights against the Taliban by going to school and writing about her life. Next time you think it’s not fair that you have to go to school remember there are some kids who can’t go to school
