I think newton's third law had the most impact on the motion of my balloon. In a section from the text newton's laws & rocketry it says "for every action there is always an opposite and equal reaction." The way this works with the balloon is the air that you put in the balloon is pushed out by the balloon (through a small val type thing on the balloon) because the balloon wishes to return to its original shape.
Screen free week?

Most schools need computers\screens for work and projects. Schools should not do shut down your screen week because students do a lot of projects and work done on the computer. We need screens to find information and help us with projects.
Most schools need computers for work. “The internet contains the world’s best writing, images and ideas.” Says Peter Norvig the director of research for Google inc. with those images, writhing pieces and ideas kids can become wonderful writers or artist. Without the inter net they may never see those writing pieces, images or ideas and without seeing those things they may never become a wonderful writer or artist or anything.
Schools and students need computers most of the time. What if a kid would like to know more about an event like the Apollo spacecraft in the 1960’s? But there school library nor does their local library have a book on it. What would they do? Look on the internet, right? Of course but if you choose to go screen free for a week or so you have no way of getting that information.
Many schools need screens for education. People need the most resent or maybe the oldest piece of information. You can find both on the internet. Your parents may say they didn’t have computers and they still got a good education. And that may be so but this generation uses screens for just about everything. “In the blink of an eye the search engine delivers useful information about pretty much any subject imaginable.” Says the author of Is Google Making Us Stupid?
As you can see most every school needs computers/screens. Schools use screens to help them get information and help with projects like a power point or other computer based things. So do you think your school should do screen free week? Or do you think it should keep the screens?
Great depression

As you read this think to yourself, what would I do in this situation? Most people in the great depression where effected in a lot of ways during the great depression. There was not a lot of money in the U.S during the time of the great depression, most people took any job they could to provide for their family and many people had to sell their possessions to get money to buy food and many other things.
One way that most people where effected in a lot of ways during the great depression is that people had to sell many of their possessions to buy food and many other things needed like clothes. “We stooped the evening paper…sold our four door model T touring car…” these people did not have much money so they stooped the evening paper because it costs money that they really did not have at the time. They had to sell the car to get money to pay for food, clothes and things needed.
Another way that most people where effected in a lot of ways during the great depression is that was not much money so they would take any job they could. “…dads willing to take any job possible…” “Dad” is willing to take any job so he can make money to pay taxes and pay for food. There dad would probably have taken a job such as cutting kids hair 10 cense a child.
the last but not least way that most people where effected in a lot of ways during the great depression is “daddy’s thinking of taking a lone from Mr.rosavelt to get some wheat planted…Mr.rosavelt promises daddy won’t have to pay a dime till crops come in” “daddy” and his family do not have much money so if Mr.rosavelt tells them that they do not have to pay their taxes or something else till crops come in it saves them money to buy food, clothes and other essentials needed. In conclusion most people where effected in many ways during the great depression. one thing i learned was that if you cant touch your toes its not because you are older or lazy its because your body dose not want you to hit your head, another thing i learned was to do techie witch is a accent chines art and one more thing i learned was how to pebble metitate witch i thought was pretty cool i had a lot of fun do all three.

That meant that his family was thrown out or forced to work for the lord or others. the serfs where responsible for themselves if they got sick or hurt no one helped except the church. The mill. the mill was where they ground the seeds of barley, wheat, corn and rye. the mills where often powered by wind and water. mills where also used to make wood to a pulp for paper.
Farming. a wheeled plow made it easier for the farmers. When the snow had began to melt the servants would bring out there master-plows. every day the plows went up and down the fields. This went on until the fields where ready to harvest.

No it is not fair at all. Because not every one was treated equal.the queen was treated much better than the surfs. The surfs got 5 m&m's while the queen had 50 or more.
2. What was your role in our activity? How did you feel in your role?
i was a serf. i felt angry because i only got 5 m&m's.but the queen got at least 50. I thought it was unfair that us serfs got treated differently.
3. Do you think serfs ever tried to revolt? Why or why not?
yes i do think that the surfs tried to revolt. because they where not treated fairly so they must have revolted to get treated fairly. i know i would have revolted against the queen for equality.

In the middle ages there where many myths one being Robin Hood. This myth was not true of course but he may have been based off of real outlaws some being Eustace the Monk, who was a pirate that helped in the English Chanel during the early 12th sentry, fulk fitzwarin, a man who turned to an outlaw after his land was taken away from him by King John I.

Malala the powerful
By: Gabby Have you ever had to stand up for your rights? Would you stand up for your rights even if you could be tortured or even killed for doing so? In the poem, In the Darkest Night, it describes a courageous person. Malala Yousafzai is very courageous like the person described in the poem. Malala is courageous because she stood up for her and other girls’ rights to go to school even though she could be tortured or killed for doing so. She also spoke out against the Taliban on blogs and on TV.
In the poem, In the Darkest Night, it describes a powerful person. Malala is like the person described in the poem.” Malala soon discovered she had her own weapon her own voice.” Malala’s voice was a weapon because she could say anything she wanted against the Taliban on TV and blogs. She new she could get killed or beaten but she used her secret weapon, her voice, against them anyway.
Another reason why Malala is like the courageous person descried in the poem is “…She was also a courage’s fighter in the struggle to help girls in Pakistan go to school.” Malala is very courageous for doing this because speaking out against the Taliban and their beliefs was dangerous because she could get beaten or even killed for doing so. The final reason that Malala is like the courageous person in the poem is “…there are those who carry on mountains on their back in the darkest night.” The poet means that in difficult times some people fight and some people and are courageous. Malala showed she was one of these people by defying the Taliban.
In conclusion Malala Yousafzai is a very courageous person just like the person in the poem. Malala fought for her and other girls’ rights against the Taliban by blogging, going on TV and continuing to go to school. So next time you don’t want to go to school think for a moment just think how thousands of people are deprived of that right ,that are banned from going to school, think about the fight that Malala had to go through for the right that you were born with.

We are writing obituaries for David Bowie.
David Bowie, who was a vary incredible musical artist and played in many movies including The Labyrinth, has sadly passed, he died surrounded by loved ones on Sunday Jan 10 just 2 days after his birthday. He died after a 18 month battle with cancer. He was 69 .David Bowie will be remembered by many but more so his family , his wife iman his daughter Alexandria and his son Duncan.
“David Bowie was one of my most important inspirations, so fearless, so creative, he gave us magic for a lifetime.” Rapper Kanye west tweeted after he learned of David Bowies death . Uber-producer Pharrell Williams tweeted “David Bowie was a true innovator, a true creative. May he rest in peace.”
David Bowie will be remembered for his unique style of fashion and music. One of the most fames movies he was in was The Labyrinth. David Bowie 1947-2016.
