Newtons Laws of Physics

What law causes a balloon to move the most?

I think that the most important law when moving balloon is law #3; "For every action there us always an opposite and equal reaction"
An experiment to show this is blowing up a balloon and let out the air inside.
Because for every action there is an opposite reaction when you blow up the balloon and let go of the end the balloon want to return to its original size, so air goes out the small passage way at the end, then it hits air particles which stops the air, and the balloon shoots out the other way. it works in a similar way to a rocket, when you see a rocket go up it is because the gas is going out of the engine and he reaction is "The movement of the rocker in the opposite direction" The gas (in this case air) hits the particles m

Growing Crystal Candy-Science In science me and my partner Monica are studying crystals. To show how crystals grow, we are making crystal candy and having grow in the classroom. It can take up to a week to form. And we've had it for 2 days. Every day we will take a picture to show the process. We are making Pink, Purple, Clear and Blue. We used the instructions from a Video online by YoYoMax12

Wellness Day

List 3 things you learned today
I learned 1. The Is a game named spike ball where there are two teams of two. A person will spike a rubber ball into a net on the ground, and it bounces up to another person on the other team, it goes back and forth until someone misses, hits the side of the net etc. 2. Cows eat and drink 30 gallons of food and water everyday. 3. I learned how to do rock meditation.

List 2 things that you found the most fun or interesting.

The two things I found most fun were Zumba and Stations in room 211. In 211 we had different stations where we could do an activity and get something like a bracelet, pencil or toothbrush. We had Zumba in the morning and that was probably my favorite out of all of the activities. We got to copy the teacher there then she let us free style.

Write 1 question or suggestion you have for the next Wellness Day.
I think we should have more time at rooms, because when we were at the spike ball room we only had 1 net so everyone else had to use hula hoops. when it was your turn you only got about 15 seconds to use it and then you had to go back to a hula hoop, and although using the hula hoop was fun, it didn't work as well.

The Medieval Manor
The seven parts of the medieval manorial system were The Mill, Farming, The Castle, The Manor House, The Church, Surf`s House, and The Vassal Fief.

The castle had 7 main Parts. At the top a guard watched the castle from atop a tower, the guard made sure the enemy were not around to attack. Under that was the wardrobe; Cloth a material were kept in that room. Servants would also sleep in the wardrobe. The next room was the Lords bedroom. He had beds made of feathers and a fireplace. The two rooms under that were The Solar rooms and the Treasure room. The King and Queen both had a solar room. A solar room was a private sitting room where the King or Queen could Play cards, Socialize, Be entertained and more. The treasure room was where they kept Gold coins, weapons, riches, and anything that was valuable. The entrance was usually hidden so the precious treasure could not be found as easily. The kitchen was located close to the treasure room. Large amounts of food were stored there. Only men worked in the kitchen because ladies worked on the laundry. The final room was the dungeon. The dungeon was where criminals were kept.

The farm was where food was harvested for the King, Queen, and others. The wheeled plow was used in the middle ages and was very helpful and made it easier for farmers to work the ground. At the end of winter, snow began to melt, the servants would bring out the masters plow and get to work. In-between the "Feast of Purification" and Easter beans, oats and peas were planted. The Feast of purification was on February 2nd. Every day the plow would go up and down the fields, getting the field ready for planting. They would not stop until the entire field was ready for planting.

Every Manor had a church. It could be big, beautiful, and grand, or it could be small but still nice. None of the churches had pews or chairs, like we do, but they still had altars. People who came to the ceremony would stand as the listened to the priest and worshiped. The men of the church were called the Clergy.

You need 4-5 sentences for each.

Themes in Bud not Buddy

What are some themes in the book Bud not Buddy? A theme in Bud not Buddy is most people in the world are kind, especially in hard times. Many people helped Bud by giving him food and making him feel at home.

One time in the book Bud not Buddy the theme, most people in the world are kind, especially in hard times, was demonstrated when Lefty Lewis said “I`ll bet anything you`re hungry. Just so happens I`ve got a spare baloney and mustard sandwich and an apple in the car.” Lefty Lewis helped Bud when he was hungry by giving him a sandwich and an apple. He noticed that Bud looked hungry, so he tried to help him.

Another time the theme, most people in the world are kind, especially in hard times, is shown in Bud not Buddy is “Go ahead and cry Bud, you`re home” Miss Thomas knew bud was sad, she wanted to comfort him when he was hurt. In a bad time, someone was there to comfort Bud, and help him.

The last time the theme, is most people in the world are kind, especially in hard times, is shown in Bud not Buddy is “Brothers why don`t we feed this boy?” The members of the band took a look at Bud a decided that he needed to be fed. He looked skinny and hungry so they decided to feed him. They didn’t leave him alone, they took him in and fed him.

In conclusion a theme in Bud not Buddy is most people in the world are kind, especially in hard times. People gave Bud things he needed to survive, and helped him get through tough times. Next time you`re re reading a book, think about what the theme might be.

Malala The Powerful

Imagine this; you wake up one day, ready to go to school, and then you find out that you never could again. You could never learn what you needed to know to pursue your future dream, like becoming an astronaut, a chef, or a teacher. This is what happened to Malala Yousafzia. In the poem In Darkest Hours by Rebeca Kai D. She describes a courageous person, And Malala is like the creative person that is described. Malala used the internet to show what was happening to herself, and other girls in Pakistan. She knew that it might draw attention to herself but she didn’t care about what may happen to her in the future.
In a poem named In Darkest Hours it describes a courageous person. Malala Yousafzai is a courageous teen who stood up for herself and the girls around her. “In 2009 she began blogging for the British Broadcasting Corporation… She wrote about her dream of becoming a doctor and her fierce determination to get an education.” This was courageous because it would be easier for the Taliban to find her. The Taliban was a terrorist group in Pakistan. Although they are not part of Pakistan’s government they still have a lot of power. They believe that women should not be allowed to get an education. Malala thinks girls should be able to, so she took a stand. Malala knew what might happen to her, but she didn’t care, she needed to get an education.

Why else is Malala courageous like the person in the poem? The poem says “there are those who carry mountains on their back in the darkest night…” this means that when there are tough times there are some people who are scared and run away and there are those who are courageous and fight or “… carry mountains on their back…” Malala is one of those people. Malala was courageous because she defied the Taliban. The Taliban threatened her, but she kept going to school and learning, even though the threats scared her.

The last reason Malala is like the person in the poem is because she was “a courageous fighter in the struggle to help girls in Pakistan go to school.” Malala is courageous like the person in the poem because she defied the Taliban’s orders. She didn’t just want to stick up for herself, but all the girls who weren’t allowed to go to school, she wanted to change their fates for the better. She took a stand for girls everywhere.

In conclusion, Malala Yousafzia is courageous like the person described in the poem. She stood up for her right to go to school even though she knew what might happen to her in the end, she knew she could get beaten, shot or killed. She wanted to go to school so she could get the knowledge to become a doctor when she got older. So if you ever complain about having to go to school, just imagine what it would be like in Malala`s shoes.
