Hi I'm Kaleigh. This is some work I've done this year. If you download something PLEASE DON'T edit it.

Newtons laws of motion

The third law was the most important law causing my balloon to move. The law is, for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction. When you cause the balloon to move what happens is the air in the balloon in is released. The air in the balloon is like the fuel in a rocket. According to Newtons third law "the reaction is the movement of the rocket in the opposite direction." Same with the balloon. The air is being released one direction while the balloon itself moves in the other. The air in the balloon bounces from air particle to air particle we can't see this though. Balloons stop moving because it ran out of air. Just like a rocket runs out of thrust. The rocket will start to fall downward when there is no longer thrust. A balloon will do something similar. The gravity starts to pull the balloon towards the center of the earth. Newtons third law of motion has the most impact because it discusses the thrust of a rocket and how the rocket moves in the opposite direction just like a balloon.

Feudalism Questions

1. Is feudalism a fair system? Why or why not?I don't think feudalism is a fair system because serfs always end up with the least money because they have to pay the queen or king. The royalty is always the happiest while most people, the serfs are unhappy and are low on money.

2. What was your role in our activity? How did you feel in your role?My role in the activity was a serf. I didn't feel great about my role role because in the end of the activity I ended up with only with two M&Ms. The person that was the queen got about 50. And the noble had around 20 or 30

3. Do you think serfs ever tried to revolt? Why or why not?I do think the serfs did try to revolt because doing the activity I could see the serfs thought feudalism was unfair in some ways. The serfs were always left with least money. The serfs probably thought feudalism was an unfair system.

Malala the powerful
By Kaleigh LeVick

Would you stand up for your rights even if you could be beaten or killed? The poem In Darkest Hours states there is a courageous person who takes action while most people cower. Malala is like the courageous person in the poem because she stands up for her rights even if it could mean death. Malala went on TV shows and gave powerful speeches to Pakistani kids. And she risked death to help girls go to school.
The poem In Darkest Hours describes those that are courageous and those that cower when there is a problem. Malala is like the courageous person in the poem because she had the courage to speak out even though everyone told her to stand down. Malala, “… went on television shows and gave powerful speeches to Pakistani kids.” Malala is like the courageous person. It takes courage to speak out even if it risks death.
Another reason why Malala is like the courageous person in the poem is because she risked death to get an education. “The amazing story of a girl who risked death in the fight to help girls go to school.” Malala is courageous because if she got caught the Taliban, a group of terrorists, would beat or even kill her.
The final reason why Malala is like the courageous person in the poem is the description the poet gave those who are courageous fits Malala’s character. The poem says,”… there are those who carry mountains on their back in the darkest night.” Malala carried the mountains on her back because she took action to resolve the problem Pakistan had.
In conclusion Malala is like the courageous person in the poem In Darkest Hours. She gave powerful speeches on television. And she risked her life in the fight to help girls go to school. Do you know anyone as brave as Malala?
