Hey my name is Lillie and I go to Parker Elementary and we have been learning about this project for about 3 weeks and it has been nothing but fun. We made a podcast called Pollution Police.
We chose to make this chart because it told all about pollution and where the pollution is coming from.
I have learned a lot more about fish depletion and it is really interesting. Here are some resources to find out more about fish depletion.
Fish are dying every year, and soon there will be no fish left and soon enough the whole food web will unroll.There are three main problems..... OVER FISHING , POLLUTION and CLIMATE CHANGE.This is about one thing which is fish depletion.Fish are going extinct very fast.About 1000 fish die a year and thats ALOT!All of the fish are being affected and it will get very bad.A few ways that we can stop this is to actually put your garbage in the trash and not on the ground. Another way to stop this is to maybe stop fishing or just fish occasionally and not all the time.Another way we can stop fish depletion is to not eat fish.We need to do something about this very soon or eventually people may die as well.In the ocean there is this thing called The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, and it is larger than the whole united states itself.Another thing is oil. It ruins the ocean and it also ruins the world.In a book called World Without Fish it explains that, "Oil sinks into the marshes and beaches and remains there for years." It is scientifically proven unknown on why did fish depletion start.
