Save the Wetlands Poster Project
In class we have been learning about the characteristics of wetlands, what they do for our environment, and why wetlands in the United States are depleting. A number of people and environmental groups are actively involved in preserving wetlands in the United States. One way in which they do that is by making the public aware of this issue. Your task it to design a poster encouraging others to support the cause, save our wetlands! Your poster must be designed using the provided paper. You will need to consider the following expectations:
- You need to show your understanding of the the plants and animals found around wetlands using BOTH pictures and writing.
- Your poster needs to reflect your best work.
- Your poster should state at least two reasons that wetlands are beneficial to our environment.
- Your poster is well presented, attractive and colorful. You need to catch the public's eye if your message is to be heard!
